was a very shocking what is happening in the world.
coz, i have many foods to eat and i have a job to buy the foods.
even i don't have a lot of money, i never have a problem about eating everyday.
after i watched " We Feed The World " today,
i knew many facts about food's production and world hunger.
the film is about food and food globalization,
such as fishermen and farmers, long-distance lorry drivers,
high -powered corporate executives and serious scarcity.
our country's food self- sufficiency is still very low. it is currently just about 42%.
therefore, we import about 70% of food from foreign country.
but Japan is the biggest country dispose of 22 million tons of foods everyday.
100,000 people are dying by hunger every year somewhere in the world.
and every five seconds a child under ten dies of starvation.
over one billion people are facing starvation due to insufficient food.
but what i can do for it?
... nothing.
i felt i am such a helpless.
i want to know what i can do.
it was MAMEMAKI day yesterday.
do you know MAKEMAKI??
MAME is bean. and MAKi is scattering.
so it means scattering beans.
WoW!! what fuck is that for ?? Japanese are very strange!!
i know it. i know it . but i have been doing this every year on 2nd of Feb since i was kids.
we do MAMEMAKI to kick the demons and bad luck out of the house.
and let in good fortune for the new year.
last year, my demon was staying at BAR on 2nd of Feb (all night),
and came back fucking next morning. so we couldn't do MAMEMAKI.
after that, my demon couldn't talk with real demon (me) all day.
so this year, my demon came back really early!! (Oh what's happen!!! :-)
and he was kicked out from house with lots of beans.
"Oniwa soto!! Fukuwa uchi!!"
if you want to try MAMEMAKi
