Machu Pichu doll workshop

it's very slow and chill Saturday afternoon yesterday.

i really enjoyed and had a lot of fun with nice ladies.

good morning.

how's your morning? nice? 

mine is quite peaceful. but i got my MacBook problem that she can't work fast at all.

She wanna be very very very slow, then i got no time to write much here now before i leave.

but i'll show you some photos in a quick.

my friend sent me a wonderful Tomato from Hokkaido , again.

look these colors !! beautiful, aren't they!?

but they were all gone for my friends and my family.

we really enjoyed (again!! )

and i started prepare for my next show.

my desk was prietty mess few days ago( now is ok)

I finished one last night. 

so show you a little parts.

i got go to work.

PiPi is very charming as same as eveyday.

i watched all films he made.

Good morning everyone!
How's your weekend?

i came back from my home town last night. stayed one night with my family.
it was first Obon of my father.
In Japan, we believe that  our ancestor's sprits come back to our homes to be reunited
with our family during Obon. So maybe my father came back from sky and stayed with us
and enjoyed family time. Well...we really hope so.

I haven't seen my nephew for couple of months.
so i was really surprised how fast he  has been growing up in this shirt time!! 

We had a biggest painful moment in beginning of this year by lost our father.
But dad left the ray of hope for us. instead, he leave.

one left but one came.
our life repeat this and leaning how life it is and how family is wonderful.

i've been leaning a lots.
my father has been giving lots of things, even he is not here.
so now, i feel so happy to be with my family
and i love more to do this.

お盆はみなさんどうでしたか？

私は実家で父の初盆を家族と過ごしました。
弟の子供も会わないうちに随分と大きくなり
子供の成長の早さにとてもびっくりさせられました。

今年の一月、父の死で家族は大きな悲しみに包まれました。
こんなに悲しいことはないんじゃないか？っと思うくらい。
でも父は私たちから去って逝ってしまう代わりに
大きなものを残していってくれました。

子供のちからって本当にすごい
あんな大きな悲しみも消し去ってくれるくらい
大きな力を持っています。

一人去っても、一人現れる。
こうして家族は人生とはどんなものか、家族とはどんなに素晴らしいものかを
学んでいくのでしょう。

私は沢山のものを父の死から学んだし、
今はなにより家族と一緒に過ごすことが幸せです。
父から一番大切なものを教えてもらえたような気がします。

新しい家族を増やして、賑やかな家族になるといいな。。。
今でもKokiちゃんのお陰で充分賑やかですけどねw

2012.8.2-8.4_Kurashiki & Okayama

hello everyone.

i backed from Kurashiki and Okayama biz trip. 

i worked for The Royal cafe in Kurashi. Do you remember that i visited main cafe shop in Copenhagen three year ago
 (this is the photo flickr →　2009.June.21-June.24_Copenhagen & Sweden ) 

i still remember the funky big dolls that were hanging from high ceiling!  that looked absolutely fantastic!!
cute, charming and such a punk!  main cafe is a one of my favorite place in the world.  

anyway... so i was so happy to work for their display in this time, even it made me crazy busy.

one point i like is the order was very good! i had to make a bird by using lots of vegetable and fruit part that were all made by fabric. Of course that parts were all hand made, so needed to take a lots of time for  one each piece.  but i really enjoyed all process. so it was a big fun for me.

i have to check many photos of my art work, i still have some works that i have to upload on my flickr.

so when i finish pv job that I'm working on now, i'll show you all! 

anyway, Kurashiki and Okayama were nice place! Kurashiki Bikan area was really small but such a beautiful!!
was really nice to walking around the town. 

and i could stay with my old friend who i lived together long time ago. i couldn't believe she became such a mum for two kids now (they are so so cute!!)  it's a bit crazy with two little kids around, but i could have a such a  nice time to be with her family.
I love you Yukiko!! 

Oh i went to Okayama korakuen garden,too! the garden ( genso teien ) light up at night during summer time. they also  have a beer garden inside of the place! (lovely!!)  

so everyone were enjoying drinking beer and watching fantastic view.  of course i did,too!

お久しぶりです。

みなさまお元気ですか？

倉敷で仕事を済ませ、倉敷＆岡山のプチトリップから帰ってきました。

前回のblogでもお見せしましたが、The Royal cafeさんのディスプレイのお仕事が入り

倉敷に行きました。注文はなんと、お店の大きな鳥カゴに飾る鳥の人形製作でした。

野菜や果物のパーツを使用して鳥を製作するという、なんとも面白いお仕事。

サイズさえちゃんと合えば、すべて私の自由にやっていいとのことだったので

デザイン画からパーツ作り、設置まですべてやらせて頂きました。

３年前にコペンハーゲンに行ったときに入ったThe Royal cafeのディスプレイには

本当に圧倒されたのを覚えています。 (this is the photo flickr →　2009.June.21-June.24_Copenhagen & Sweden ) 　
お店の高い天井からぶら下がった大きな人形たち。

これがどれもpunkな感じなのに、チャーミングなお店の内装にぴったりと合っていて、

一目で気に入りました。私が旅した世界中のお店の中でも５本の指に入るくらい大好きなお店。だからこそ、このお仕事が現実になったときは本当に嬉しかったです。

このお仕事の為に働いてくださった及川さん本当にありがとうございました。

作品の写真等は､他にもＵＰしなければいけない作品の写真がわんさかと溜まっているので

それらと一緒にＵｐしてＨＰのgallery から見れるようにしますので

もうしばらくお待ちください。

そして今回の旅の目的は実はもう一つあり、中々会えない親友に会いにいくことでした。

５年前に少しだけ会った時は上の子は赤ちゃんで

もう既に二人目は２歳。すっかり立派なママになっていた彼女。

昔一緒に住んでいた頃はお互いフワフワで、結婚出産なんてちっとも考えられないという感じだったのに、
時が移り変わるとこんなに周りの状況も変わるんですね。

子供のいない私には中々体験できない、やんちゃな男の子達に囲まれた一日。

それはそれは賑やかだったけど、なんだかとっても楽しかったなぁ。。。

yukiねえちゃん、久幸さん、おばあちゃん、イツキくん、ソウちゃん

楽しい一日をありがとうございました。またいつか遊びに行きますね。

そしてその後も一人で倉敷と岡山をぷらぷら

美観地区は小さいエリアですが、白壁と瓦の光景がなんだかとっても新鮮で

古さとモダンさをミックスしたようなお洒落なお店もいっぱいありました。

地ビールを飲んでほろ酔いになりながらの散歩が楽しかったなぁ。。。

岡山の夏だけ開催されている後楽園の幻想庭園もとってもきれいでした。

しかもこんなにきれいな庭園の中にビアガーデンがあるなんてうらやましい。。。

最後の夜もしっかり一人で満喫しちゃいました。

今回の旅は､一人だったけれど

色々な方々とも知り合い、出会いが多い旅でもありました。

国内を一人で旅するのも、たまにはいいもんですね。

次はどこに行こうかな？

旅の余韻に浸りつつ

次の仕事の準備を頑張ります。
